Rachel and Cahal: Wedding Budget Breakdown

Hands up if sorting out the financial aspects of a wedding makes you feel a bit weighed down…

The good news? You’re not alone! Many couples find wedding planning to be a heady mix of fun, excitement AND stress. This is completely normal in our experience.

While we are admittedly a little biased here at Peppers Creek and believe that a dream venue is an absolute must-have, the team also understands that there are lots of other elements to consider when making - and sticking to - a budget. With this in mind, we thought it would be helpful to give you another real-life breakdown as a guide.

Rachel and Cahal’s New Year’s Eve celebration was as epic, beautiful and action-packed as they come, featuring a fairy, fireworks and bridal party entrance by way of helicopter! They also opted for a ton of luxe upgrades to make their wedding extra special and memorable. All the details below.

Rachel and Cahal spent a total of $38,571 on the following:

  • 1-hour chapel ceremony

  • Post-ceremony sparking bar

  • Post-ceremony kids' drinks

  • Lavish ‘Romantic Traditions’ reception, which included 5-hour exclusive hire of our barrel room, a 5-hour signature beverage package, and three paddock-to-plate courses all prepared by our Head Chef

  • 2-hour beverage package extension

  • 1-hour barrel room hire extension

  • Post-reception mini beef and guinness pies (Cahal is Irish!)

  • Gelato cart

  • 20 x smaller meal packages for child and teenage guests

We’d love to hear from you if you’re dreaming of a rustic-meets-opulence wedding at Peppers Creek (with or without a tractor ride!). Our dedicated onsite wedding coordinators will always work within you budget x
