Wrap-up: May 2026
Autumn 2026 is coming to an end - and it’s been breathtakingly beautiful. Winter is almost here and we know it’s going to be pretty special too.
See you all in June x
ONE
Stephanie and Liam’s wedding was a pastel dream come true! Defying traditional autumn styling, they swapped earthy terracotta and rich burgundy tones for baby blues, soft peaches and blush pinks. The result? A delicate, whimsical ceremony that gave their day a fresh-as-spring feel. We loved hosting this one! A big shoutout to the team at Willa Floral Design for bringing a fairytale to life. Any colour palette is possible, no matter the time of year.

TWO
This happy pup! The on-theme aqua bowtie! While Stephanie and Liam’s romantic ‘I dos’ inside our sandstone chapel were exceptionally beautiful, this furry little sweetheart may just have stolen the show… Pets very quickly become valued family members and we are 100% on board with having them be part of celebrations here at Peppers Creek. It’s always worth that extra bit of planning and effort to see all the beaming smiles when a pooch walks down the aisle as ring bearer or joins his humans at the signing table. It’s pure joy, and it never, ever gets old! Kare Kanine is one of our favourite pet-friendly vendors in the Hunter Valley - super capable and very willing to assist with the water bowl top-ups, muddy paws, toy-wrangling and every else that goes into looking after four-legged loved ones on your wedding day.

THREE
Throwback to one of our favourite Autumn weddings at Peppers Creek! Rachel and Charlie’s day was a love letter to this cosy season - rustic, inviting, intimate. Featuring antique coppers, burnt sienna and deep plum hues, this loved-up duo transformed our barrel room into an enchanting, opulent space. Nothing sets a more captivating mood than soft candlelight woven through dark, dramatic florals! Their packed post-dinner dancefloor and glowing neon sign above the fireplace were a vibe too. As we gear up for winter, we’re also revisiting some past Peppers Creek weddings that embraced this season’s unique magic (which is highly underrated, in our opinion!). Hannah and Luke married in June last year and we’re still not-so-quietly obsessed with their twinkly lights, bold red florals and stunning fireworks display. While plummeting temperatures and barer branches can deter some couples, winter weddings offer some unmatched perks - zero humidity, off-peak pricing and the unequivocal BEST lighting for photos. That last one is a little-known industry secret…

FIVE
We’re forever grateful for the lovely couples that take the time to write to us after their wedding day. (Not a must-do by any means but always deeply appreciated!).
“We had our wedding at Peppers Creek in April 2026, and we couldn't have picked a better venue! The grounds and venue itself are so beautiful. We loved being able to have both the ceremony and reception at the one venue to enjoy the day. The staff were so friendly and always made sure we were well fed and taken care of as bride and groom. We loved the addition of the canapes after the ceremony and the shared platters for the main course were a hit. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. We were so happy with how the wedding day turned out thanks to Peppers Creek!”
