Whew, what a month! Spring is vibrant and transformational, fragrant and uplifting… and it’s hard to say goodbye to. Fortunately, summer is just around the corner, which means carefree outdoor fun, gelato for dinner and an almost endless run of sunny days.

ONE

Pretty in pink! With a soft and playful blush colour palette, Taylah and David’s wedding at the start of this month was the epitome of spring romance. There was a fairytale-like ambience throughout our entire venue on the couple’s milestone day - effortlessly inviting and a little bit mystical! The team still can’t decide on a single stand-out element because there were honestly so many. Every detail was immaculate, creating a celebration so joyful and visually cohesive, and just incredibly beautiful as well. If pressed though, the whimsical and illustrative floral-themed seating chart by Wish Boutique is definitely up there!

TWO

A ‘happily ever after’ so captivating we had to feature it twice! While our barrel room, with its natural timber features and ornate touches, is region-renowned for its obvious Tuscan-inspired architecture, it is also a surprisingly flexible space that offers almost unlimited styling choices. Taylah and David’s striking fireplace display is proof of this versatility, which featured masses of pastel pink and coral roses, mismatched clear glass candle sleeves, beige muslin drapery and a bold neon sign. Their twilight reception here felt both elegant and comfortably lived-in - a completely unique look to match the newlyweds’ vibe perfectly! We can’t wait to receive the full gallery. Last month, sweet duo Taylor and Benjamin swapped ‘I dos’ at Peppers Creek. This month? All their gorgeous pics are back! From heartfelt storytelling in our sandstone chapel amidst a sea of delicate baby’s breath and white hurricane candles, to an epic golden hour photoshoot and dancing the night away under a canopy of twinkling lights, this wedding had all the makings of a truly timeless celebration. It was such a privilege to be a part of! We also consider ourselves exceptionally lucky to get to work with some of the Hunter Valley’s most talented wedding vendors, without whom none of this magic is possible. A huge congratulations to Taylor and Benjamin!

FOUR

‘Classic and modern’ is the aesthetic of the season, with Renee and Wes’ October nuptials again showing just how impactful minimalist weddings can be. Sometimes, less really is more! You couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces (or our jaws off the floor!) when their gallery landed in our inbox this week. We loved every aspect of Renee and Wes’ pared-back styling approach, with neutral linens, sandy bud vases and lush ivory florals contributing to a day that was as thoughtful, refined and organic as the couple themselves. Luxurious without being overdone!

We never tire of receiving feedback like this - ever. Spring may be drawing to a close, but the warm-and-fuzzies we get from glowing reviews live on!
